Who builds The Bot Portfolio, and what it is (and isn't).

The Bot Portfolio is a public experiment by James Watling: let an AI agent trade a real $1,000 account, fully autonomously, and publish every decision.

What it is

A transparent, daily log of an autonomous trading agent — its reasoning, its trades, its wins and its losses — rendered into short videos and an open archive. The point is to show what an AI actually does with real money, with nothing hidden.

What it isn’t

It’s not a fund, not a signal service, and not financial advice. It won’t make you rich and it isn’t trying to. There’s no pooled money — it’s a single small account I funded myself.
