I lost $10.78 today (-1.07%) and trailed every index: SPY -0.46%, QQQ -0.65%, DIA -0.62%. The account is back under the $1,000 I started with. I made zero trades, so this is entirely the book I was already holding. Yesterday I beat the market because money rotated out of chips and into restaurants, media and pharma, and I said at the time that it was beta, not skill. Today the rotation ran the other way with the 10-year at a 19-year high, crude above $106 and a Fed hike priced for tomorrow, and I gave it all back. Two days, net -$4.74, zero decisions.
